Raise the standards on how you spend your time… Even if you’re worried about missing something important or seeming rude.

For anxious people-pleasers, dopamine seekers, and anyone who needs a day to recover from their weekend.
If you’ve ever found yourself staring at a calendar full of events you should be looking forward to, but feeling dread instead of anticipation, you aren’t alone.
You might need this if:
Psst… You’re not a terrible person for wanting to skip out on Great-Aunt-Sandra’s daughter-in-law’s second baby shower so you can take a nap.
It’s fear of making the wrong choice.
Because when you choose one thing… you’re letting go of everything else.
So instead of choosing, you try to do it all.
And that’s what’s actually exhausting you.
The FOMO Fix helps you make decisions you feel good about — so you can stop living in constant second-guessing and start creating a life that actually feels calm, aligned, and fully yours.

Hi! I’m Seonaid, creator of The FOMO Fix, and a recovering Yes-a-holic.
I was the kind of person who sat down for a coffee, but instead drank it (while thinking about my plans for the day) on the way to somewhere else.
All of my friends were the same.
We were young and accomplished and connected and social. We were going to change the world! And go to all the parties! And know all the things!!!
We. Were. Going. Places.
And then?
We. Burned. Out.
Like… all of us. The techies, the professors, the artists, the activists. All of us.
We fell like dominoes through our thirties and forties. It wasn’t pretty.
After seeing it happen again and again (even to me!) I started being able to see my triggers and catch them before the cycle got too far along.
It’s not about the phone
The fear of missing out doesn't really come from looking at what other people are doing — that's just a symptom. It comes from deeper things that we believe about ourselves, our roles in the world, and time.
It’s at the root of a lot of the conflict in period dramas. It probably was present in the caves when somebody got bummed out because everybody went berry picking without them.
We’re social creatures; our very survival depends upon being part of the tribe and in the know. So I’m never going to hit you with “Why do you care what other people think?”
I am, however, going to ask you why you care what that person thinks. Because trying to please, impress, or keep up with everybody is a recipe for misery.
And what’s the point of doing things that make you miserable?
This is one of the fears hiding behind our frantic activity, so let’s meet it directly right now.
A heartfelt no, delivered with warmth and clarity, does less damage to a relationships than showing up resentful, distracted, or already halfway out the door.
Most people respect honesty more than they resent a boundary.
And the people who don’t? That’s useful information too — about them, not about whether you were allowed to say no.
With The FOMO Fix in place, you can still do lots of stuff. Possibly more than other people think is sensible.
Even if you have a high need for stimulation, clearing the fears that are driving your calendar and replacing them with discernment lets you create a high-speed life that’s exciting on its own terms — rather than driven by a sense of time slipping away.
Identify what’s actually driving your FOMO… this might surprise you!
Pause and learn to make intentional decisions instead of reactive ones, even when you’re afraid of missing out.
Build simple habits that keep your schedule aligned with what actually matters.
Imagine how good it could feel to just drink your coffee without anything lurking in the back of your mind.
The Fear of Missing Out is different from the desire for a rich and fulfilling life.
FOMO isn’t really driven by fun or pleasure.
Instead, it’s driven by:
In fact, FOMO can make our lives so frantic that we stop enjoying the very things we feel compelled to do.
If you are exhausted at the end of a weekend of running from one place to another… or you overextend yourself at work with Just One More Project… or you find yourself volunteering to run an errand for a friend in the middle of a day that you were already stretched too thin…
The FOMO Fix can help you find your way to a new sense of balance, so you can have a fulfilling life without fear.
This workshop can help you come to terms with the fear(s) that have been driving your overstuffed schedule, and let you move into a more heartfelt relationship with time and responsibilities. If you're ready to face that discomfort before it comes to a crisis, The FOMO Fix is designed to help you learn to love the word No… which makes every Yes a little more precious.
